Another Industry First for RMS – Accreditation with the Caravan Industry Association of Australia

Industry pioneer, RMS -The Hospitality Cloud, has become the first technology company to receive accreditation from the Caravan Industry Association of Australia, the peak national body for the country’s rapidly-evolving caravanning and camping sector.

RMS first started developing reservations and distribution technology for Australian holiday parks 40 years ago, quickly becoming the market leader. Its cloud-based hospitality technology is now used by more than 2,000 holiday parks in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and United Kingdom.

Chief Executive of RMS, Gerry Comninos, welcomed the accreditation.

“It’s a real validation of our business, processes, people and of what we’ve been doing for the past 40 years – which is building innovative, easy-to-use technology for the holiday park and hotel industry,” Mr Comninos said.

Caravan Industry Association of Australia CEO Stuart Lamont congratulated RMS.

“RMS has been a long-time business leader in the industry and gaining accredited status demonstrates that they are committed to quality business management and customer service,” he said. “Caravan Industry Association of Australia is committed to leading a robust, sustainable and compliant caravanning and camping industry, and our National Industry Supplier Accreditation Program is a key aspect of this.”

RMS is the world’s fastest-growing property management system.

With deep roots in the holiday park industry, RMS has expanded into hotels and serviced apartments and now has offices in North America, United Kingdom, India, Singapore and the Middle East serving a client base of 5,000+ properties in 25 countries.

Features of its fully-integrated system include property management, channel management, point of sale, dynamic pricing, housekeeping, tour desk, event management and sales.
