740 million people around the world use Apple Pay. This quarter, RMS Pay customers can give them the checkout experience they already expect.
The case for Apple Pay goes beyond convenience. When guests pay with Apple Pay, their actual card number is never shared with your property. A unique token is used instead, meaning there's nothing to steal if data is ever compromised. The results speak for themselves:
- -30% reduction in online fraud
- +4.6% uplift in payment authorisation — fewer declined transactions, fewer bookings that fall over at checkout
- +18% lift in cart conversions — the biggest drop-off point in online booking is the payment step, and Apple Pay removes the friction entirely
- 50% of Visa eCommerce is now tokenised — and when a guest's card is reissued or expires, their Apple Pay token updates automatically, so you never have to chase updated details
RMS Pay customers are already seeing the impact. In 2026, properties transacting through RMS Pay have seen a 96.88% Apple Pay authorisation rate across more than 10,000 Apple Pay transactions. The overall RMS Pay authorisation rate sits at 91.51% — well above the global average of 85-90%. And chargebacks? Just 0.03%, compared to an industry average of 0.89-1.1%.

H1 look back
RMS Booking Engine wins TravelTech Online Innovation of the Year.
We're proud to share that the RMS Booking Engine has been awarded the 2026 TravelTech Online Innovation of the Year.

The rollout that began in January 2026 is nearly complete, and net-new enquiries are welcome now. Interactive Maps — built specifically for caravan parks and campgrounds — are also available as part of the Booking Engine setup.
