Fast New RMS Payment System Saves Time, Money
RMS – The Hospitality Cloud has today launched a new integrated payment solution in collaboration with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Integrated into RMS property management system, Payment Gateway slashes the time it takes hoteliers and holiday park operators to check-in guests, process payments and manage their business.
Payment Gateway integrates CBA’s payments acceptance service, CommWeb, with the RMS property management system. This enables hoteliers and holiday park operators to be able to offer their guests a wide range of payment options and improving overall customer experience, while reducing the time staff have to spend on administration tasks.
The collaboration also features the full-integration of CBA’s smart EFTPOS tablet, Albert. Customers who adopt the Albert Terminal, will be able to take payments, split bills and reconcile sales, which will all be automatically recorded within RMS’s property management system.
Initial customer trials showed significant time savings for front desk staff and provided a better guest experience.

Buttigieg says the system works effectively across all property types and market verticals.

He adds, “This integrated payment solution not only saves time but reduces the risk of human error with processing payments - with the click of a button, payment requests will go directly from RMS property management system to the Albert EFTPOS tablet.”
